I spent tooo many dollars on DOORS today 😬 Maybe the most unexciting big purchase I've had to make all year?! DOORS!! it kills me. Anyway I got a bit more bad news today re: the pool quest.,,,,😩 (If you're not interested in my personal rambling seriously feel free to scroll past and just enjoy the free elf lewds and carry on with your night lol💚) for those interested and knowing my big goal right now is to get a pool... I've been dreaming of this for so long and when house hunting as well it was a big priority for me. our realtors were quick to assure us there'd be no problem putting a pool in this yard, and us looking at the space we had no idea it'd be an issue either. So, first hurdle was finding out, it in fact, is not gucci for a pool. Perhaps even impossible to have one that me3ts all the standards now-which is SO frustrating because so many of our neighbors have pools in yards just like ours, just because they were installed years ago :( So then I finally cheered myself up to get even a tiny pool or hot tub, and even that is a challenge.. It requires like 3 different permits, all costing ~thousand $ to even SEE if you'll be *approved* to go forward with the building-- You could simply be turned down and be out some thousands instead.🙃 I bit the bullet and agreed to do it, but was then informed before you can submit permits you need to hire a designer to submit professional drawings along with them. costing $1-2000 each, and we need 2.. I thought that would be it. Then the designer tells me they need a property survey, which apparently is $2-3K for a new one, or you can get old ones on file for maybe $600.. This is all excluding the costs of the actual pool, installation and landscaping lol...My heart absolutely sank. My savings I planned to put towards the pool this season all went to taxes instead, so the dream feels further and further away 😭 I am trying to make it happen, but it's all such a convoluted frustrating process and yaa, I just wanted to share some updates with y'all since I mentioned earlier in the year it was my goal. So I'll probably be dropping some extra sets soon to help save for it and go towards all these nasty lil permits and surprise expenses 🥺 (I could even do a new set?! or a bikini haul vid or something to be on theme?!) And if you read this far thanks for listening to my rant hahah I hope it can still happen eventually..and if it does I promise allll the bikini content 😭🙏💙
