Here's a look you've never seen me inπ. I can definitely feel my quads & glutes are fatigued! Pretty sure it had something to do with those 40lbs KB goblet squatsπ.
I'm a little sad today. The heart necklace I wear broke during boxing. It was my mom's who passed away 2+yrs ago...I miss her everyday! She was who I told everything to. I don't have that person now. I am grateful she moved in with me & I got 10 months with her everyday before she diedπ₯° tho still sadπ’. Cherish your loved ones and let them know how much they mean to you!π
Workout cut short. My very first trainer was at the gym so we talked. I was 90lbs still overweight when I started with him. He said very few has stuck with workouts as as I have π. What can I say...never wanna go back to way I was and am very much a creature of habit! The first is my absolute favorite quote & words I live by...very true!!! Got in a run with Toby before rain set in. Was stopped by a neighbor that wanted to chatπ. Still got in almost an hour. Thank goodness for the afterburn of strength training πͺ π
The heart rate monitor must have been malfunctioning because I don't feel it reflects the effort & amount of sweat lost (you'll see in last video π). Some combos are a little difficult for me, it's a flow thingπ¬. There is one combo that's my favorite. So the last video, you'll definitely understand why I wear a headband during workouts...& even then it isn't effective π.
Ended up hanging around the house listeningto country music & dancing around (nope, no vidsππ). Been meal/snack prepping for the week. Got the outlets working again. Looking for townhouse to rent. I just can't do 500-800 sqft in an apartment π«...no room for my desk when working from home. 1 bedroom 1bath $1400-$1600π. Need to win the damn lottery to buy a place. It would help if I actually played the lottery thoughπ. Making homemade pizza for dinner. Working on the dough now. I'm a traditionalist, lots of mushrooms & pepperoni π. I will admit to using turkey pepperoni. Maybe I'll post a pic laterπ
Great workout. Tried to keep it light on the weights...I know, not like meπ. I feel my muscles have been sore more than a few days so need some recovery. And can I say that my back muscles are really starting to popππ...that tickles me! Sooo more videos than I usually postππΌββοΈ can't help myself π€π.
Debating on hitting the water today. Toby's super tired tho always gameπ. Got the breaker do I need to swap it out today. My car is in desperate need of a wash!!!
Went on quick shopping trip. I ended up getting the red one. The denim didn't quite fit across the chestπ. I was being ambitious thinking I could fit into a juniors small...nopeπ
The workout this morning. I did modify. I went with 15/16 reps, added 15 burpees. Basically 2 cycles then move to next group of exercises. After 60 total burpees, I figured that was enough. I got in wall balls & finally ended with deadlifts. I started with 185, then had to drop down to 155. Went to walk out of the gym to run Toby. Heavy mist sent me back in & ran on treadmill, 2.15mi. What still amazes me is how quickly my heart rate crashes (my body is extremely quick at recovery).
Late night last night for work. Couldn't get my numbers to workout π. Luckily today I finished a little early π. My eyes are definitely tired at days end from staring at computer screen all dayπ. Not sure what's worse, bunch of financial statements to go through or no papers & looking at spreadsheets on the computer all day.π€·πΌββοΈπ
I have a zoom interview at 10am...wish me luck. TGIF!!! I thought it would never come. This week is dragging by and the days seem longerπ. Any special plans for the weekend? Do tell!
