This was one of my favorite adventures that I did in Costa Rica. I wanted to do an excursion so I took an Uber out to this beautiful location and started with a coffee tour. After learning a lot about the history of coffee production in Costa Rica, and after several cups of coffee, I embarked on the most beautiful hike!
I took my solo hike to new heights, quite literally, by stripping down completely naked! It was pretty hot so I was glad I had the trail all to myself to be able to hike ~au natural~ (the best way). My air bnb was robbed last night and all my valuables have been stolen, including my laptop, hard drive, and GoPro (unfortunately all recent purchases). Yesterday I went out to film and had the most epic failure I have ever had. I had already scouted out a location, and I figured it would be less busy during the week, but unfortunately that did not turn out to be true. I had a backup location in mind, and unfortunately that was just as busy 🙃 I decided just to drive until I found a spot, and finally I found a spot that I liked. As you can see in the pics, I actually did get pretty lucky! The switch up had me feeling a little shaken, but I decided to continue filming anyways.
I filmed for a bit, and then I went to use a toy that I had brought and realized that I had forgotten to charge it (😖). And THEN, right when I was about to have the most amazing beach orgasm, my gopro died! I was extremely upset when I realized this. I had planned to film two videos, but I ended up calling it quits after this. It may sound small, but I felt as if I had wasted a whole day and it left me feeling extremely dejected.
Driving "home", I tried to focus on the positives. I feel like this is the part of traveling and creating that I struggle with the most- the constant uphill battle of dealing with technical difficulties and plans changing last minute. This weekend I got to explore the Montezuma waterfall! It was a much harder hike than anticipated and an extremely difficult drive to get there, but totally worth it once we got there. I plan to go back this week to do a more ~naturist~ version of the same hike!
